Simulize Media Group provides design and production services in Film, Music Videos, Museums, Historic Sites, Architectural, Interior Design and Live Stage Performance clients.

 

We utilize Virtual Production and Photogrammetry to create and complete Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and Virtual Simulation projects

Colin Mendez Morris

Colin is a Director of multicamera and livestream film performances of theater, music, and dance. He studied music at Boston University and Mannes College in New York. He then studied Digital Cinematography at George Brown College in Toronto and holds a graduate certificate in Film from Staffordshire University(UK) Mr Morris attended the Virtual Production program at Sheridan College and is a two time recipient of the Ontario Arts Council’s Skills and Career Development grant.

Yovanny Hernandez

An Augmented Reality, Virtual Production Specialist, Yovanny’s experience is rooted extensively in Film and Television Post Production. His work includes shows on the Discovery Channel, Slice, YTV, The Cooking Channel, in addition to independent documentaries and film projects.

Yovanny’s Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality projects include the Virtual Museum for the City of Longueuil, Quebec, where he created digital reproductions of artifacts and original buildings. This allowed the viewer to experience historical buildings in their original locations, superimposed on existing modern buildings and structures. 

Yovanny is an experienced Unity, Unreal Engine, and Multimedia developer. He serves as an instructor at the Champlain College Virtual & Augmented Reality AEC Program where he shares his analytic and problem solving techniques with a new generation of content creators.

Yovanny attended the music conservatory of Universidad Nacional de Colombia(Bogota), The Harris Institute for the Arts, Seneca College (Toronto), and Champlain College (Montreal) He resides in Montreal with his family and enjoys classic Latin Jazz and CrossFit training.

Alejandro Prieto

A native of Bogota, Colombia, Alejandro Prieto is a Film and Television Producer specializing in Virtual Production, immersive 3D and Virtual Reality.  Alejandro has extensive experience in executive production and project management on many different digital platforms. He has served as executive producer of 3 festival premiered feature films, a documentary for Discovery Channel Latin America, as well as many projects for corporate and architectural clients.

From the beginning of his career he concentrated on the potential of digital production tools and served as executive producer of Colombia’s first digital film-La Sombra del Caminante.

Alejandro is also a keen student of Latin American and Indigenous history and culture. His production company, Cajanegra Producciones, highlights his commitment to culture, history, and  democratization of cinema for social justice. 

Alejandro holds a degree in Film and Television from Universidad Nacional de Colombia (Bogota), and a certificate in Virtual Production from Sheridan College in Toronto. As a producer his festival films have been premiered at the Berlinale (Germany), San Sebastian and Huelva (Spain), Biarritz (France), Guadalajara and Morelia (México), Filmfrasor (Oslo) and Cartagena (Colombia) Alejandro actively competes in Triathlons and most recently ran the Berlin Marathon.
